How to fill with butane gas? 1. Fill with any brand of butane fuel. 2. Turn the lighter upside down: Insert the mouth of the butane gas canister into the filler. 3. Fill the fuel: Press firmly to fill. Press carefully and firmly. 4. Disperse the fuel (the most important step): shake the lighter up and down 4-6 times (one for each fill) 5. After adding butane, remember to wait at least 3-5 minutes before lighting. Not including lighter fuel (due to airmail regulations, lighter fluid gas is not included), all lighters come empty, so please fill before actual lighting. Can be refilled and recycled.
