This is ideal for rosemary but last night I used it for fresh dill from the garden and it is a real time-saver. I made dill with rice and didn't want any of the tender stems in just the thread like leaves and with this little device the job took just minutes instead of half hour or so it usually takes. Very nice, quality piece. I use it mostly at a spoon rest after stirring my coffee/tea but I can't wait til my herbs are mature enough to clip and use the herb stripper feature. This item makes removing the stems from herbs much quicker and easier.
