We designed these unique cards because we wish we had them when we ran our groom shop. Hopefully, you find them to be an effective way to quickly communicate several things to your pet parents. 1. They describe why matted fur is a serious problem. 2. Each card details why for safety reasons mats must often be shaved. 3. We hope you find they effectively describe when and how a pet parent should comb his or her pet. 4. These may be a good way to help you sell dog brushes, combs, fur rakes, slicker brushes, and other deshedding tools to your pet parents or otherwise build more of a bond with them or even encourage them to come in for an in-between groom brush out. The idea is that perhaps they could allow you to limit disappointed customers since they would have something in writing showing that you had no choice but to shave out the matts. Secondarily, the hope is that some pet parents would build daily or weekly brushing into their routines.
