Special Features

  • REPLACE A/C CLUTCH ASSEMBLY: Use the CARSTECH Air Compressor Clutch Rebuild Removal Tool Kit – AC Clutch Puller for Car Auto Air Conditioner. This tool kit is designed to remove, install, or rebuild clutches found on AC compressors.
  • Applicable for various vehicles, including:Ford FS6; Hitachi MJ; Chrysler C171; Nippondenso 6P/10P; 148 compressors; Delphi / Harrison (GM) R4/A6 SAE, DA-6/R4 Metric ; Sanden compressors SD5, SD7, SD505, SD507, SD508, SD510,SD575, SD708 and SD709; Tecumseh HR980; and Zexel (Mitsubishi).
  • BUILT TO LAST: Constructed from stainless steel with a black coated finish for ultimate strength and longevity. Resists rust and corrosion with proper care and lubrication. The 2 and 3 hold puller plate allows mechanical force to handle all pulling on most clutches.
  • EASY TO USE: Keep all threads clean and well-oiled. The outer part of the tool has a smooth side and a threaded side (threads used to attach to the inner clutch shaft when removing). Start with one bearing between the tool and clutch, and thread it fully onto the compressor's inner shaft threads (this is the fixed part - the inner bolt does not move when threading down the outer piece). Remove the tool and add another bearing to adjust for the distance the clutch pushed into the pulley.
  • A MUCH-NEEDED TOOL FOR REPLACING AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR CLUTCHES: This AC clutch tool is essential if you're replacing the clutch on your AC compressor. You can repair the A/C clutch yourself by removing two shims, fixing your AC and saving a significant amount of money compared to replacing the entire compressor/clutch or having it repaired at a shop. We offer a 12-month warranty; if the tool has any quality problems, we will refund or replace it.

Description

PLEASE NOTE - there is a black protective oxide coating on the tool adapters that may leave marks on the inside tool case pockets that some customers think is grease, it is actually a rust preventative coating that has left marks.
