EASY TO USE: Keep all threads clean and well-oiled. The outer part of the tool has a smooth side and a threaded side (threads used to attach to the inner clutch shaft when removing). Start with one bearing between the tool and clutch, and thread it fully onto the compressor's inner shaft threads (this is the fixed part - the inner bolt does not move when threading down the outer piece). Remove the tool and add another bearing to adjust for the distance the clutch pushed into the pulley.
