These are actual pieces of trees from millions of years ago that have been petrified, (the organic matter has been replaced with minerals). Also commonly referred to as fossilized wood. Arizona rainbow wood is known for having beautiful colors in many different shades. You will receive a mix of sizes, most around 1 to 2 inches. They work great for rock tumbling, wire wrapping, lapidary, cabbing, education, decoration, fountain stones, jewelry making, metaphysical or rock collecting.
