This tool mimics the balancer to center the cover on the front seal locates on the ID of the seal bore in the cover without the seal installed,you will have to exercise care to align horizontally the cover to the oil pan.Designed to help center the seal around the crankshaft on LS during assembly. Once slipped over the front snout of the crankshaft, this tool locates the seal installed in the front cover to ensure proper orientation on the crankshaft.
