The item is covered by one-year limited warranty against defective factory materials and workmanship. It does not cover postage, accidental damage, consequential or incidental loss, wear and tear, abuse, or misuse such as water damage and overloading damage.
MAINTENANCE
The item is a precision instrument. Handle with care. Never overload it. Protect it from liquid spills, moisture, extreme temperatures, UV, shaking, dropping, shocking, and other abuses. Preserve its finish by wiping with a slightly dampened soft cloth. Do not use solvents, harsh chemicals, abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents. Empty its weight pan after use. If it will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries and disconnect the AC adapter. Store it in a cool and dry place.
