Marvelux chair mats are manufactured in the United Kingdom, using the highest grade of pure polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is twice as strong as PVC and is naturally rigid. This means that Marvelux polycarbonate chair mats can be produced thinner, yet provide enhanced durability, rigidity and surface protection compared to many other chair mats.

The expertly designed studs on the underside of the chair mat carefully adhere to carpets to keep the mat safely in place under computer desks, whilst preventing damage and wear to carpets. The clear chair mat design is almost invisible and compliments any interior. Your carpet will remain visible while it is protected from wear, tear, rips, stains, dirt and damage.

This chair mat is specifically designed for use on carpeted floors. The studded/gripper side of the chair mat should be placed onto the carpet to hold the mat in place without damaging your carpet or padding. Do not use on hard floors. Please note: the degree of ""stay-put"" will vary depending on the weave structure of your carpet.

For carpet thicknesses over 3/4"" (including padding), we recommend the Marvelux Glass Chair Mat or the Marvelux Extra Thick Polycarbonate Chair Mat.
