The washer pump is located at the bottom of the washer bottle, which is usually very low on a car.
The washer pump is accessed by partially removing the inner wheel arch of the bumper trim. The pump is pushed into the cleaning bottle. Washing machine tubes should be push-in, some may have a clip to release them, if they are push-in they are difficult to remove, heat them with a hair dryer and they come off easily.
Never allow the washer pump to run dry as this can cause failure, and also add more windscreen washer fluid than the recommended amount as it is less likely to freeze. Do not put antifreeze in the cleaning bottle. Be sure to put the windshield fluid in first and then top it off with water.
