LED lamps come ready for a plug-and-play installation. Unlike the OEM Ford Kit, no trips to the dealership for BCM re-programming are necessary.
LED lamps are IP67 rated making them completely waterproof against high-pressure water spray. Their UV-treated Polycarbonate lens makes them rugged and dependable. Lamps illuminate when you open the door or unlock the doors with your Key Fob, and fade-to-off automatically when the truck is started or doors are locked. The lights can also be controlled with the over-cab light button located on the headlight switch inside the passenger compartment.
LEDs are a White 6000k color temperature. White perfectly matches the factory trailer assist lamp.
Included is a power extension harness that allows you to seamlessly connect your LED lights to the factory wiring harness by tapping into one factory wire with the included 3M T-Tap.
