  • Over time, the chain tensioner may reach its limit and the chain stretches a little too much and starts rubbing against the spark plug channel, which can cause damage. The constant rattling of the chain may wear a hole in the spark plug channel, causing oil to slowly seep out of the side of one cylinder, which the rider may notice.
