This special newborn edition features simple vinery, leaves, text, and lines drawn in real chart art, and a smooth, satin printed wood surface.

This kit comes with a pink wet-wipe liquid chalk marker. The premium marker features a reversible tip, with a chisel 6mm tip on one end and a rounded 2mm tip on the other. It's perfect for making thick and thin lines. The marker's wet-wipe ink means it will remove with water. When using other markers, certain colors and brands may cause staining; test markers in a small section before writing on your board. Do not use real chalk on this board.

Milestone boards are easy to use. Simply write your child's name, birth date, and relevant birth information and allow to dry. Once the photo shoot is over, use the birth announcement board as a keepsake by hanging or framing. Some marker inks can be removed so the board can be used again. To reuse, remove marker ink from board immediately for best results. Use water or gentle cleanser to remove the ink. Do not use abrasive cleaners or magic erasers; they will damage the board's surface.

The board features real chalk art and a faux wood pattern embedded onto a hardboard material then cut to size. Round corners are stamped to avoid sharp edges. Finished board measures 5 by 7 inches, by 0.13 inches thick.
