Symptoms of a Bad Throttle Body:

Electric throttle body installation precautions
1.After replacing the throttle body, the idle speed is usually high, unstable or the engine fault light is on.
2.This is because the car ECU stores the original throttle parameters, and the newly installed throttle body parameters are inconsistent with the original ones.
3.Now you need to match the throttle to the computer. This matching process is actually to clear the original memory of the ECU and start self-learning again.
4.When there is no matching computer or the computer cannot match, the following manual methods can be used to match.
5.Disconnect the negative pole of the battery line, remove the memory function of the ECU, and install it after waiting for 1 minute.
6.Turn off the ignition switch, unplug the EFI and ETCS fuses in the fuse box in the engine compartment, and put them back after 1 minute.
7.The above two methods are to eliminate the memory of the ECU, if the idle speed is still high, the ECU can recover to the normal speed through 1~2 days of self-learning.
