Safe operating procedures:
1. Staff must wear labor protection supplies such as work clothes, caps, gloves, and foot covers. Clothes must not be tied at the waist, and foot covers must be fastened to the trouser leg.
2. Provide fire-fighting equipment at welding and cutting sites.
3. Apply for a fire certificate and preventive measures before electric welding operations in non-fixed locations.
4. Obtain a permit to work at heights and wear safety belts.
5. Be careful of electric shock, arc light, and metal splashes.
6. Check the welding site upon completion and ensure that there is no fire hazard.
Safety precautions:
1. Use the welder according to the data on the nameplate and do not overload it.
2. Adjust the current in no-load state and avoid long-term short circuit.
3. Check the wiring and grounding before using the welder.
4. Keep the welding machine free from strong vibration and the temperature controlled during operation.
5. Perform regular maintenance and ensure good insulation.
6. Check the technical condition and insulation of the welding machine regularly.
Notice:
Ensure the safety of the grounding wire. Do not place wires on dangerous objects and check the grounding resistance.
Avoid using multiple welding machines in series. If multiple machines are used, they must be connected to a three-phase power grid to balance the load. Connect the grounding devices of each machine to independent grounding electrodes.
