The plastic protector is self-adhesive and has two protective plastic layers on both sides. The plastic strip thickness is approx1.8 mm.
The plastic protector prevents broken strings from damaging the guitar's top surface. Broken strings can whiplash and create holes behind the bridge on the guitar.
The transparent material of the plastic protector is similar to the protectors called golpeadores, which are installed on flamenco guitars.
Each set contains four self-adhesive plastic strips.
