Special Features

  • This kit includes everything you need to wire a Gibson Les Paul or similar guitar, with the addition of solder-free push/pull tone pots! All pots are CTS.
  • Some soldering is required with this kit, but the solder-free push/pull pots cut the soldering roughly in half. And they cut the most difficult part of the soldering, so while they cut the soldering by 50%, they cut the hassle by 80%!
  • When combined with 4-conductor pickups, push/pull pots will give you a number of really cool options for tonal flexibility. We include a professional, fully-illustrated wiring diagram that details three popular options: Coil Splitting; Series/Parallel; Coil Split + Phase Reverse.
  • Configurable tone pots have seven capacitor values built-in so you can select the one you like, dialing in each tone control to your liking!
  • Designed for guitars with 1/4" top thickness (the mounting thickness at the control holes - most Les Pauls). If your guitar has a 1/2" top thickness at the control holes then the pots in this kit won't be long enough to fit. Please note: knobs & switch tip are not included. There are just too many options. You will need knobs/tips that are designed for USA components. Gibson knobs will work, Epiphone knobs will not.
