The Alnico 2 Bar Magnet helps sweeten the high-end response, while the vintage output coils bring out this pickup rich harmonic content. Chords have a full, open sound and individual notes have a soft but articulate feel. The unpotted nickel silver cover gives the clay an almost piano-like percussive quality. Pair with the Seth Lover Neck Model for the perfect P.A.F. Setup Each humbucker of the Seth Lover model is built by hand in Santa Barbara as Seth Lover designed it. The mold we use for our butyrate coils was made by the same factory that used the original P.A.F. Mold for Gibson Other key features include our specially made 42AWG Plain Enamel Mag Wire, Nickel Silver Cover, 2.5" Alnico 2 Bar Magnet, Custom Metal and Maple Spacers, Single Lead Push-Back Braided Lead Wire and Nickel Silver Base Plate. We wrap every Seth Lover humbucker on Seymour's original Leesona winding machine from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, MI., for that distinctive vintage tone and feel.
