  • Application: Use Premium MLV Seam Tape for installations of mass loaded vinyl noise barriers on interior walls, floors, and ceilings. When installing the mass loaded vinyl sheets, ensure to butt-join the sheets tightly with no overlap. Use specialty MLV cap nails to fasten MLV sheets to the studs or joists. Then, cover all seams between MLV sheets as well as along the perimeter and any openings with UberQuiet Premium MLV Seam Tape. This specialty tape provides superior adhesion for lasting performance and provides an airtight seal to enhance soundproofing characteristics.
  • Key Features: Pinked edges allow for easy tearing by hand. No knife or scissors are needed for fast and convenient installation. The superior adhesion and flexibility of the tape ensure easy application and lasting performance. The extra long roll provides enough material for approx. 250-300 sqft of mass loaded vinyl soundproofing material.
  • Compatible Materials: Suitable for flat, non-textured mass loaded vinyl sheeting and other flat soundproofing materials. Tape may not work on textured MLV material. Use the tape in combination with specialty MLV Cap Nails to ensure proper and lasting performance.
