Flensted mobiles
The story of the Flensted mobile begins with the founder Christian Frenstead created three stork mobile for her daughter's baptism. A year later, the company was founded in 1954 after the creation of a stork mobile, and his son Ale Frenstead was inherited to its business in 1982. Every mobile is handcrafted in the heart of the beautiful countryside of Denmark and now has over 250 designs. Display decoration for museums and shops in Denmark

The mobile is all handmade in Denmark, from cutting to assembly. The mobile requires precise balance points to hang the parts and requires meticulous research and skilled skill to create. Time, patience, and meticulous assembly work can be progressed with care by skilled homeworkers.

DESIGNERS
Christian Flensted
Founder and Father of Aule Frensted. It was called "Uromageren" which means troublemaker. "Uro" is an old Danish word meaning "mobile (always working)" and "mager" means "maker". It has been highly skilled in creating an elegant and classic design and a unique mobile that moves around and balances the mind.
Ole Flensted's father Christian, and is a second generation. From an early age we have seen his father's mobile, and at the age of 20, he created the first piece of Futsura. The 3 movements of the Mobile's (balance, rhythm, and unvariable movements) are similar to the Mozart Symphony
DESIGNS
