Conversely, if you're using the tape in hot weather, refrigerating it for a while before use can help remove the adhering film. Please note that the tape may not be very sticky at first, but it will reach maximum adhesion 24 hours after application. For best results, apply the deck joist waterproof tape in dry, debris-free conditions
