How to Use:
1. Put the hydrometer vertically into the liquid at a standard temperature, usually 20 degrees, and after it is stabilized, the reading on the top that lies flush with liquid surfaces is the solute content.
2. Measuring solute content is usually done with a hydrometer. The hydrometer is manufactured according to the principle of different solute concentration with different specific , and different volume of the liquid displaced by the floating body sinking into the liquid. When the hydrometer is placed in a liquid, the higher the concentration of the solute, the more the hydrometer sinks and the lower the specific . On the other hand, the lower the concentration of the solute, the less the hydrometer sinks and the greater the specific .
