Shesha is the king of all nagas and one of the primordial beings of creation. It is said that Shesha hold all the planets of the universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of the God Vishnu from all his mouths. Vishnu often rest of meditate on Shesha, with his wife Lakshmi at his side massaging his feet.
