【Tamiya Compounds Fine (#87069) and Finish (#87070)】 These compounds are designed for plastic, featuring finely and uniformly sized abrasive particles made through a special process.
It leaves a glossy finish without any polishing marks, and any compound remaining after polishing can be easily washed off with water. These compounds are ideal for enhancing the gloss of painted surfaces and removing scratches from clear parts.
The cream-like consistency makes it easy to apply a small amount to a cloth for polishing. For light colors like white and silver, which less visibly show fine scratches, using just the fine compound may be sufficient to achieve a beautiful gloss.
For darker colors like black, where scratches are more noticeable, using the finish compound will result in a cleaner finish. Be cautious especially around edges as the compound can potentially remove too much paint and expose the base material. Volume: 22ml each
【Compound applicator cloths set】 This set includes cloths optimized for polishing and shining plastic models with compounds. They help maximize the performance of the compounds while minimizing polishing marks.
Conveniently cut into a size that's easy to handle, this two-color set allows for efficient usage. The separate colors prevent mixing of different compounds, enhancing precision. When the cloth starts to clog, it can be washed and reused.
