🥊 Herstat+ Cold Sore Cream comes in a small tube, but just the tiniest amount spread regularly on the sore packs a big punch. Each tube contains 2 grams (0.07 oz) of ointment (we actually overfill each tube by 10%). This is the same amount as the top selling item in the USA. Because you only need a very small amount regularly on the cold sore, one tube contains more than enough to last for at least one outbreak. You will also notice that the tube is crimped to close the end and this shows the batch number and expiry date. It is normal for the tube to contain air above the ointment. This headspace full of air is necessary to ensure the end of the tube is 'dry' when it is heat crimped.

Whilst providing temporary relief from the pain of cold sores, Herstat+ cold sore treatment also provides relief from cold sore symptoms such as dry, cracked and sore lips by creating a protective barrier that retains moisture, softening the aggravated area, and preventing it from becoming contaminated. Herstat + cold sore treatment should be applied directly to the affected area of skin. Herstat works best when applied regularly: apply directly to the affected area every 2 hours, up to 5 times per day.
