A rivet nut fastener is a tubular rivet with internal threads.
This Nuts has a flange to provide increased strength in punched and drilled holes.
Knurled body provides a higher resistance to spin out when installed in soft materials.
It requires a tool or device to install in seconds form one side of the work. Once installed, no work needs to be done.
The added benefit of not only being a sturdy fastener, they are ready to use with clean threads available for screw attachments.
rivet nuts can also be used when the application has little or no access to the back, as they can be installed from the front of the workpiece.
