As rainwater passes through soil and rocks it absorbs some of the hard metals it passes through (mostly calcium and magnesium). While total hardness can be easily measured by test strips there are many situations where determining the specific mineral contributing to the hardness is useful.

How to test Magnesium:
1. Dip strip into sample
2. Shake off excess liquid
3. Wait one minute then compare to color chart. Itâ€s effortless to use; the testing process only requires the strips and results take under one minute.
