To commemorate this, Babolat used an innovative painting process to create a unique and randomized blue design on every racquet. The Pure Drive 30th Anniversary is designed for players looking for a powerful, versatile, and maneuverable tennis racquet. This all-round tennis racquet will give you a unique feeling with every winning shot and every victory, just as it has done for the last 30 years.
  • POWER: Do you want more power? Then look no further. Whatever your level of play, power is what makes this racquet so iconic. Not only is it widely used on the circuit, its versatility has made it one of the best-selling racquets of all time, synonymous with power for all types of players.
  • EXPLOSIVE: Would you like a little extra oomph when the going gets tough? Explosivity is the answer. When the intensity goes up a notch, you can rely on your racquet to do exactly what you want it to do: to make a killer shot, even on an off-center hit. Description

Babolat's DNA has always been to analyze changes in the game and to provide the best solutions to tennis players' needs, bucking trends and creating new ones. In the 90s, tennis was dominated by control-oriented racquets with small heads and square frames, but Babolat created the Pure Drive in 1994. A tennis racquet with a 645cm² head size and an elliptical frame to generate power and change the rules of the game. Four years later, Carlos Moya won his 1st Grand Slam with the now iconic Pure Drive: the first of many Pure Drive victories at the professional and amateur level. The High Torsional Rigidity (HTR) system is a new lay-up composition in the hoop of the racquet for increased rigidity to produce explosive winners at will. New technology featuring extended wrapping of SMAC technology, the cutting-edge vibration filtration system integrated in the lay-up composition, provides an unrivaled feel at ball impact and a unique sound on every shot. Advanced frame-string interaction system with an open 16X19 string pattern and optimized diamond grommets for a larger sweet spot and maximum power for all players. Elliptical frame structure with optimal resistance and overall rigidity for phenomenal power.
