Seller-fulled (non-Prime) kits have upgraded Nitrile bulb material. Nitrile is significantly more resistant to corrosion than the common rubber bulbs, and prevents the infrequent issue with the Hydrochloric acid solutions corroding the bulb. Prime stock will be upgraded shortly.
This solution strength is identical to those labeled "28% Sodium Chlorite". The highest purity Sodium Chlorite availible is 80% so that it remains chemically stable. When a 28% solution of 80% Sodium Chlorite is dissolved into water it becomes 22.4% Sodium Chlorite and 7.6% Sodium Chloride (salt).
