CE SERIES: Caplugs CE Series Caps for Threaded Pipe Ends are black-colored caps that are designed to protect the threaded ends of pipes. Available in models with straight walls or NPT tapers, these caps offer ample protection against damage, debris and contaminants.
TIGHT SEAL: The tapered design of NPT caps allows them to create a secure and tight seal on threaded pipe ends. Their tapered appearance can also make it easier to identify the correct cap size for a threaded pipe.
WIDE RANGE OF SIZES: Our CE Series caps are available in several NPT and NPS sizes, with an NPT thread size range of ¼” to 12” and an NPS thread size range of 14” to 64”. This specific model fits the following pipe thread style and size: NPT 1-1/2".
RESISTANT MATERIAL: Caplugs CE Series Caps for Threaded Pipe Ends are fabricated from low-density polyethylene (LD-PE), a flexible and durable material that is resistant to water and a wide range of chemicals and weather types. It has a service temperature range of -94° F (-70° C) to 175° F (79° C).
