Morinda officinalis, also known as Indian Mulberry, is a plant in the Morinda genus. The plant can be spotted mostly in river sides, mountains, and forests. As one of lianoid shrubs, it has succulent cylindrical tubers. The stem is with small vertical ridge, hirsute when young. The leaves are oval, from 3 to 13cm long.
