Material characteristics:
TPE flexible filaments are made of low melting TPE composite material modified by special polymerization.
Shore hardness 55D.
The melting point of 55D is around 175°C. Compared with TPU flexible filaments, the filaments have better fluidity, lower water absorption of the material, less filament drawing during printing, lower sensitivity to temperature in printing, and faster printing speed than TPU of the same hardness.
The heat resistance temperature of the printed product can reach more than 100 °C under the condition of no force.
Product specs:
Filament diameter: 1.75mm.
Net weight of filament: 1.0 KG
Printing settings:
Printing layer thickness: 0.1~0.2mm
Printing temperature: 220~240°C
Printing speed: 15~30mm/s (regular printer); 150-250mm/s (high speed printer) .
Bottom plate heating temperature: no heating or heating to about 60 °C.
Note: 55D TPE filaments support high-speed printing.
Instructions for use:
1. TPE flexible filaments are soft due to their softness, so 1.75mm diameter filaments are not suitable for remote filament feeding 3D printers. A short-range filament feed printer is recommended.
2. Due to the soft TPE flexible, in terms of the structure of the 3D printer extruder, the traditional spring pressure filament feeding structure is easy to cause flattening of the filaments and cannot stabilize the filament feeding, and it is recommended to use a fixed distance double-wheel filament feeding structure.
3. Due to the soft TPE flexible, the passage from the extruder to the nozzle needs to be closed, otherwise the filament cannot be fed.
4. Due to the high molding shrinkage rate of TPE flexible filaments, in order to prevent printing warping, it is recommended to build the bottom when printing, and reduce the cooling speed or do not open the cooling fan when building the bottom.
