1.Disconnect all electrical power to the air conditioner
2.The PTCR and capacitor are to be mounted in the airconditioner's junction boxThe junction box is located in the right rear comer of. the roof top unit evaporator housing,can be removed from the evaporator housing by rermoving the screws.After remove the door by sliding it down to dear the evaporator housing flange
3.The start capacitor is installed using the metal strap in the unit.Loosen the screw on the end with muliple holes.Add capacitor to front of others and wrap strap around and fasten strap securely Refer to the illustration on the back page ,or you can search for it on YouTube and watch its installation video.
