Special Features

  • This device converts your RJ45 internet (ethernet) signal into MoCA Coaxial. Use your ethernet-over-coax connection between your access point and your router to improve your WiFi connection.
  • Important: please buy at least two devices to enjoy the high speed MoCA - you need one device to convert to ethernet-over-coaxial, and another to convert the coaxial connection back to a signal your router/computer/game system can use. They can be connected to a variety of devices in the home. Maximum 16 devices in every home network.
  • Use existing COAX wiring to create an ethernet network to achieve a fast, reliable Ethernet connection between a router and any device with an Ethernet port. MoCA technology outperforms wireless for speed, latency, reliability, and security.
  • Unlike Wi-Fi, MoCA is based on coaxial cable, a shielded metal wire. That can minimize the external interference. Also the attenuation of the cable is very small, less than 8dB per 100 feet. Even with a 60dB path loss, you still can get a full-speed connection. It is almost comparable to Ethernet. Plug and Play set up with no need to configure the Coax to Ethernet Adapter or re-configure your router.

Description

Easy to install:
Step 1 - Connect one MoCA adapter to your HDTV, set top box, access point, PC or other devices, via the ethernet port. Connect the coaxial cable to the wall.
Step 2 - Connect another MoCA adapter to your router via the etherenet port. Connect the coaxial port.
Step 3 - Make sure the Power and Coax LEDs (or lights) are solid green.

Depending on your home's wiring setup, you may be required to purchase a bi-directional MoCA splitter (not included).
