At the beginning of the installation, you may notice small gaps, but this is not a product defect or deformation. If significant gaps remain after tightening the bolts, simply continue to tighten them evenly until the gaps are reduced to the desired condition. Ideal gaps should normally be maintained at about 0.4 inches or so to ensure smooth opening and closing. If you experience difficulty opening, loosen the top double bolt moderately.
