This X520-DA1 10Gbps SFP+ Fiber Ports Ethernet Adapter will provide reliable and unified 10GbE LAN, SAN network connection on Data Centers, Network Attached Storage and Desktops PCs for Gaming, 4K HD Video Streaming, Internet Surfing, Storage and Visualization. Based on Intel's 82599EN 10 Gigabit Ethernet Controller, will compatible with most Windows and Linux devices. Communicated by PCIE 2.0 standard with PCIE X8 interface will provide 40Gbps total bandwidth, ensure each SFP+ interface TX and RX pick up 10GbE simultaneously. Fully support Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq), PCI-SIG SR-IOV. Bulit in Virtualization Technology for connectivity delivers I/O virtualization and Quality of Service (QoS) features. The I/O virtualization advances network connectivity by providing flexible port partitioning (FPP), multiple Rx/Tx queues. The FPP allow servers using SR-IOV function. The QoS functionality that can be used in both virtual and non-virtual servers. Unified Networking solutions combined the traffic of multiple data center networks like LAN and SAN on to a single efficient network fiber. Users can choose NFS, iSCSI, or FCoE to carry both network and storage traffic at speeds of up to 10 Gb/s. It is a reliable and effective method of connecting servers to iSCSI SANs.
