HDMI 2.1 4K EDID Emulator PRO (Model: 4K-EW2), Support SCDC and Exact EDID Copy and Emulation, HDCP Pass-Through (not Bypass or Remove), 14 Pre-Set EDID Values with 2.1 Channel Audio
Precise Matching and Easy to Use: Equipped with a true EDID copying function, it can store the EDID of an external monitor into the emulator (external EDID), including video and audio format information. It can accurately simulate an HDMI screen and audio environment. You can use the knob to switch between 14 built-in EDID settings, allowing for quick and easy simulation of the desired resolution (internal EDID).
To Prevent EDID Loss: The HDMI EDID Emulator supports copying and emulating EDID when connecting devices such as splitters, switchers, and extenders. Cable quality and older screens might affect the success of EDID copying. If needed, please try another proper setup.
HDMI 2.1 & SCDC: This product is compatible with HDMI 2.1 and adheres to HDCP standards 1.4, 2.2, and 2.3. It accommodates resolutions up to 1080p@240Hz 4:4:4 and 4K@120Hz 4:2:0, but it does not support 8K resolution. The device features HDCP pass-through, which permits HDMI output devices to access the display's HDCP keys when properly connected. In the absence of HDCP, the screen will either display a blank image or revert to a lower resolution. Additionally, this model facilitates 10x and 40x frequency control for SCDC handshaking and supports hot-plugging for the display. However, it does not accommodate the FRL handshaking necessary for 8K resolution.
Bi-Directional Design: It can automatically detect the direction of HDMI (Sink and Source auto detection), supporting both forward and reverse connections, allowing the choice to connect the EDID emulator on the computer or display side, offering more convenient installation and application options.
Headless operation supported; no monitor connection needed; even if the display is turned off. Powered by the HDMI source device; no external power supply needed. If the monitor's EDID can't be copied, please try another monitor, good HDMI cable or use internal EDID for testing.
