Cobalt chloride-free orange indicating beads 3-5 mm in size are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%. Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change to green. It's important to note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation. The beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50%RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.

Beads can be Reactivated by Placing in the Oven for 0.5 to 2 hours at 200 to 250F Or Microwave for 10 Minutes at Defrost Mode; Do not heat the beads over 250F in the Oven; It may take you shorter time than the recommended to reactivate the beads which depending on the beads' condition. Please check the beads' color periodically.
