Description

The Enerpac P-2282 ultra high-pressure hydraulic hand pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure in intermittent and non-repetitive construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications. The hand pump can advance and retract a single-acting cylinder or power a hydraulic tool (sold separately) and can hold a load. This pump does not have an internal pressure relief valve and must be used at all times with a pressure gauge (sold separately). Its large release knob controls pressure release. This two-speed pump is for applications where there is little or no load initially, but where increased force is needed when the load is applied. When no load is present, the pump operates in the first stage, which has a faster flow rate. When the pump senses a load, it switches to the second stage, which requires fewer handle strokes and slows the flow rate to produce more pressure and move the load. The pump has a 3/4" Unified National Fine Thread (UNF) cone thread port for connecting to a hose or gauge (sold separately).
Specifications Pressure, first stage 200 pounds per square inch (psi) Pressure, second stage 40,000 psi Oil displacement, per stroke, first stage 0.99 cubic in. Oil displacement, per stroke, second stage 0.037 cubic in. Usable oil capacity 60 cubic in. Maximum handle effort 106 lb. Weight 14 lb. Dimensions 9 x 22 x 4.74 inches (H x W x D)
H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from back to front.
Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine. When the operating mechanism is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid from the reservoir is delivered through an attached hose to a hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized hydraulic fluid in the cylinder lifts the cylinder's piston, which in turn lifts the load. Hydraulic hand pumps are usually made of steel, or aluminum and nylon, and can be single-speed or two-speed. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications in both industrial and home settings.
Enerpac manufactures industrial hydraulic equipment for lifting, workholding, and other applications, and provides integrated lifting solutions for bridge construction, mining, shipbuilding, and other industries. The company, founded in 1959, is headquartered in Menominee Falls, WI.
