Description

Make installation of your catch basin or low-profile adapter to your drainage system quick, easy, and worry-free. The 3 in. & 4 in. Outlet Adapter is made of polystyrene, a type of plastic, and connects the catch basin to drain pipe for a secure, soil-tight fit—no tape or glue required. Connects 9 in., 12 in., 18 in., and 24 in. Catch Basin Drains as well as 9 in., 12 in., and 18 in. Low-Profile Adapters to 3 in. & 4 in. single-wall corrugated pipe, sewer and drain pipe, triple-wall pipe, and 4 in. Sch. 40 pipe; connects 24 in. catch basins with 2410 adapter.

The catch basin, also known as a catch drain or storm drain, is used to collect stormwater runoff from surfaces. Catch basins are available in various sizes to capture low, moderate, and high water flows for a range of applications such as for lawns, landscaped areas, patios, walkways, under downspouts, driveways, parks, and courtyards. As part of a complete drainage system, the catch basin drain directs water to connected drain pipe, which carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.
