Special Features

  • Application – These well point drive caps and couplings are used with well points to create a shallow well without digging.
  • Function – The well point drive caps are screwed onto the threaded end of the well point to protect the threads from damage when the well point is driven into the ground. Threaded well point couplings allow sections of threaded pipe to be connected to the well point. When the well point is driven into the ground additional sections of pipe are connected to the well point and driven into the ground to increase the depth of the well.
  • Material – The 1-1/4" Well Water Tank Fitting Galvanized Drive Female Coupling is made of heavy-duty gauge steel with zinc plated at surface, advanced heat treatment process, ensure maximum strength and durability for long lasting usage. The Well Drive Cap surface is treated with black oxidation, so that a layer of oxide film is formed on the metal surface to isolate the air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention.
  • Note – For extra protection to the pipe threads, place the drive cap on the top of the well pipe. pipe nipple and connect nipple to the well point or drive pipe using a drive coupling. Can be driven with a sledge hammer or post driver.
