Cortland's Gel Spun backing is made from super-high-strength gel-spun fibers, braided to exact specifications. The tight, round braid allows you to pack a lot of backing onto small spools. Available in hi-vis yellow, pink, blue, and white, in 30-lb., 50-lb., and 80-lb. test on 300 and 2500-yard spools.
