This muzzle rest is ideal for shotgun sports like trap, skeet, five stand and sporting clays where the competitor prefers to rest the muzzle on the ground between shots to reduce fatigue. This is a great foam rest for high school shooting sports where resting the muzzle on the foot is illegal. The magnet allows the competitor to simply touch the muzzle to it to move from post to post or other locations. Then, the competitor moves the muzzle to the foam portion of the pad between shots. Note that the bright green rests are approximately 3/8-inch thick and the other colors about 1/2-inch.
