The JacobsParts ESP32 Development Board is an advanced, dual-core dev board that operates at 2.4GHz. It features a robust ESP- WROOM-32 module and comes with two touch buttons for reset and enabling module entry to halberd program mode. It should be noted that the charging cable for this ESP32 module supports only Type-C to USB charging, and not Type-C to Type-C fast charging.
The board comes with an expansive type-C interface expanded by the USB serial port. This allows for easy debugging through a USB-connected computer, leading to efficient and stable data transmission. The board additionally supports a multitude of development environments, including NodeMCU, which not only broadens its resource range but also significantly streamlines its learning and development process.
The JacobsParts ESP32 Development Board is versatile and is suitable for various Internet of Things applications, such as home automation, wireless industrial control, and wireless positioning system signals. It supports Lua program, is easy to develop while also supporting the LWIP protocol, Freertos with three modes including AP, STA and AP + STA.
The low power, dual-core 32-bit CPU can function as an application processor while the powerful system offers a maximum frequency of up to 240MHz, with an operational capacity of up to 600DMIPS. It includes the functionalities of UART / SPI / I2C / PWM / DAC / ADC, the openOCD debugging interface, and several sleep modes - the latter facilitating a deep sleep current reach of just 6.5ua. It boasts embedded LwIP and FreeRTOS, along with supporting STA/AP/STA+AP modes, Smart Config / Airkiss single button network distribution, and external 5-12V power supply (with battery version capable of a 5.5V max. input).
