[Easy Installation] This dual fan wiring harness kit includes a straightforward wiring diagram, making it simple to wire your dual electric fans. Connect the RED wire to the 12VDC positive battery terminal, the COFFEE wire to the fan positive terminal, the BLACK wire to the ignition, and the GREY wire to the sending unit. This kit is a direct replacement part compatible with 10, 12, 14, and 16-inch cooling fans.
[Temperature Control] The temperature switch activates the fan at approximately 185 degrees Fahrenheit and deactivates it at 175 degrees Fahrenheit. The included temperature sensor features a 3/8-inch pipe thread, and a 1/2-inch adapter is provided for added versatility.
[Complete Kit] This electric cooling fan thermostat kit comes with everything you need for installation: a 40A relay, wiring harness, thermostat switch, 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch adapter, inline fuse holder, two 20 amp fuses, one spade connector for the temperature sensor, eight ring terminals, and four wire connectors. This comprehensive kit ensures you have all the necessary components for a seamless setup.
[OE Style Thermostat] The included thermostat is designed in OE style for mounting in the cylinder head of the engine or any water jacket if needed. For proper operation, the thermostat must be grounded through its threads to the engine, and the engine itself must be grounded.
[High-Profile Fan Compatibility] If you plan to use high-profile fans, you may need to crimp or solder larger wires to accommodate higher current draw. The included 14AWG wires are rated for 15 amps and may not be sufficient for fans with a higher amperage requirement.
