4130 heat treated Chrome-Moly steel. For setting proper rocker angles after decking the head/block, or when using small base circle cams.
After the length has been properly adjusted, cleaned and column has been deburred apply structural adhesive or thread adhesive and gently press the end in to seat it.
Using the pushrod end of a couple of lifters during assembly will help eliminate any damage when pressing them together.
Note: For balance, it is necessary to cut evenly from both ends or grind evenly from both ends, making sure not to cut only one end.
