Bosch universal oxygen sensors are designed for situations where the original connectors are too damaged to be reused with an exact fit oxygen sensor. Universal sensors require wire splicing to connect to the vehicle. All needed components required for installation are included and no soldering is required. When vehicle side connector/cable is in good condition, exact fit oxygen sensors are the preferred solution. When that is not an option, Bosch universal oxygen sensors are the right choice.
