A natural, plant-based pigment made from madder root that will color cold process soap a beautiful strawberry red.
Just three simple ingredients: madder root extract, alum, and washing soda.
Powder stick-blends into water or oil to produce an even color - no more speckles or rough spots.
Use 3 grams of Madder Red powder per pound of soap in your recipe. A half-ounce jar will dye up to 5 pounds of soap.
Caution: For use in cold process soap only. Not for use in food products or cosmetics. Always wear a mask when working with dry pigments. Cure and store soap out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
