Simply plug the Circuit Detective's transmitter into a wall outlet on the circuit you're trying to locate, then run the receiver over the circuit breakers or fuses in your box. When the receiver beeps and flashes, you've located the right circuit. Receiver operates on one 9v battery (not included). UL listed.
