Why do you need to replace Camshaft Follower?
To solve the cam follower issue which plagues all for FSI engines.
Fuel Pump Cam Follower is a critical wear item on FSI engines and HPFP, it is recommended to replace it every few oil changes.

If a worn cam follower is not replaced, the following can happen:
Fuel starvation resulting in stalling under acceleration
Not being able to start the car
You run the risk of slagging the camshaft and high pressure fuel pump, and a bunch of metal fragments falling into the valve train.
You have the risk of ruining your engine
