Usage Steps:
1. Outline the area on the pottery where you don't want to glaze
2. Apply wax resist to the area where you don't want to glaze and allow to dry for 1-2 minutes until there is no liquid running
3. Fill the pottery with glaze
4. Place the pottery in the kiln to be fired. The wax resist is burned off in the kiln when the temperature rises to about 500 ℉, revealing the original color and pattern of the pottery
Attention:
1. Use brushes of different thicknesses to paint, handle the finer details reasonably and avoid overflowing areas of wax resist
2. When painting, the work should be laid flat to prevent the wax resist from flowing to other areas
3. In the case of spherical pottery, wait for the initial drying of the wax resist in the area directly above before adjusting the position for applying the wax resist to other areas
4. The initial drying time is related to the thickness of the wax resist, the thinner parts will be dry in about 10 seconds
